The Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) is a 501(c)(6) international trade association.

We diligently renew our ACCT certifications annually, between June and September, to guarantee that our team is always equipped with the latest in safety practices and standards. ACCT is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a standards developer for the international industry of challenge courses, aerial adventure parks, canopy tours, and zip lines.
ACCT and its member organizations engage in government affairs, address regulatory challenges, and contribute to the establishment and promotion of industry best practices and standards. In collaboration with key organizations within ASTM International (formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), ACCT helps to set standards for challenge course designers/builders, inspectors, and operators.
ACCT also undertakes regular outreach activities to its membership and the wider industry, keeping them informed about the latest news and developments in challenge course operations. An annual international conference is hosted by ACCT, featuring more than 100 workshops dedicated to professional development each year.
