Roatan’s two cruise ports have new names. If you are arriving by cruise ship, here is what changed:

Mahogany Bay is now Isla Tropicale. Carnival and Princess ships dock here, a short walk from Xplore Roatan.
The Coxen Hole cruise port is now the Port of Roatan. Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and other lines dock here, and our free shuttle picks you up.

A note on Google Maps: as of October 13, 2026, Google has not yet renamed Mahogany Bay to Isla Tropicale. Google Maps and Google business listings, including ours, still show the Mahogany Bay name and address, so search for Mahogany Bay when you look us up or ask for directions. It is the same place.

Nothing changes for your booking: we are in the same place, and pickups run as before. More details coming soon.
